so, i heard you’re visiting seoul 🌚🌝

maybe i want to share my favorites.

like alwaysγ„γ€γ‚‚ι€šγ‚Ši want to be here, to inspire. to share. and to help.

my favorites if i have to say, are probably Dongdaemun market and the Seoul Forest Park. i can spend hours at both… πŸ™‚ i liked to have a to-go coffee from Mega coffee (the one with grains added..!) and just walk around Seoul…

i think you know already about Naver Map…

πŸ—ΊοΈ here is my Naver Map for Seoul city

🏑 a nice place to stay in Itaewon: i can recommend jebi daek hostel (Naver / Website / Instagram) it’s affordable and clean and cozy, with nice Korean young people as hosts and guests, and nearby han river (Naver) and bridge where many people walk dogs and run, it’s cozy

β˜•οΈ the Itaewon neighborhood is interesting and old, will be torn down soon apparently 😦 and has a beautiful architecture coffee shop called maha hannam (Naver / Instagram) with a really nice rooftop view, and croissant!

🌼 also nearby in Itaewon is an upcycling shop called Kinda Flowery Child (Instagram) run by my new friend Mimi. it’s very cute, she’s very cute, and if you have some clothes you would like mended, repaired, or made flowery, you should DM Mimi to make an appointment

πŸ‘– furugi is so fun in korea! I recommend the Gwangjang Market (mostly foooood like scallion pancake and hottoek – Naver) and Dongdaemun General Market (clothes and random stuff, my favorite! – Naver) you can go to together, nearby each other…. big big Seoul Folk flea market μ„œμšΈν’λ¬Όμ‹œμž₯ here (Naver) if you wanna see more~

🌲 the entire seoul forest park in Seongdong might be my favorite place in seoul (Naver), when the light hits the trees in the early morning or late afternoon. have a coffee walk and enjoy the nearby shops like SAMO ONDOH bags and Blue Elephant sunglasses (pretty affordable, surprisingly!)

🌈 i did a Korean-style color assessment with Hybrid Rainbow Studio (Naver, Instagram) near Lotte World and Seokchon Lake Park! the owner is Christina Kim (Instagram) who is very cute and nice. it was fun, and much cheaper than other options i found…! can you guess my colors? Around the area has nice cafes like “Oh, linzi” where I had a nice mugwort latte and mugwort cake, while some cats played in the bushes around me

πŸ“Έ i also stayed a while in Mapo / Hongdae and recommend YN Film photo lab (Naver) if you need any film or developing or any thing..!

🏟️ the park around the World Cup stadium (Naver) was a beautiful place to run/hike/walk up the stairs to the top on a sunny day ~ and Gyeongui Line Forest Park in Hongdae, and it’s a lot of shopping and hip young people with lots of clubsssss weeeee

πŸ— nearby the Gyeongbokgung Palace, and walking around Bukchon Hanok Village (hmm i think it’s a just ok place, lots of sweets stores and tourists)… i liked across the street Gyeongsung Chicken (Naver), portions are so big in Korea!!! Artmonster locations also had good chicken and pour-your-own beer concept…

πŸšΆβ€β™€οΈ Hapjeong-dong CafΓ© Street in Hongdae is nice for a walk. It’s around here (Naver) with a cool bar/cafe called Day for Record.

πŸ‘€ i did not go, but looks interesting: Inwangsan Shelter in the woods library (?) (Naver),

🐝🐝 busy busy seoul

πŸ™οΈπŸŒƒ big big building

πŸ‘«πŸ‘« matchy matchy couples

πŸ»πŸ— please enjoy some chimaek (and somaek) for me…! i like cass and the elephant lite beer!

jiiiiiin!
