what kind of world do you live in?
do you believe in fairies, and the tales of
elves, mermaids, extraterrestrials?
where do you draw the line between imagination and reality,
or, do you have no line at all?
when it comes to how i think of the world,
i’m not the same me i was a year ago, but
i’m still the same me i was 20 years ago,
playing with the make-believe.
i think if you believe in something, it’s there, and
there are things in existence that will only show themselves
to those who truly believe.
of course i’ve only seen dragons in clouds, and
blame mischievous elves for misplaced items, but
play with the idea of secret and tiny beings,
out of sight, but not out of mind,
living peacefully in a parallel world.
if you are what you eat,
more importantly,
we are what we think.
the word ‘imaginative’ comes to mind and says to me that if you are a
-native- in your imagination, embracing it, getting lost in it,
you’ll find yourself in new worlds all around you.
people will always see what they want to see, so
what do you want to see?
